On LinkedIn, a carousel is a PDF that people swipe through. Write one idea per slide, choose a template, a size, and your brand colors, and download a PDF that's ready to post as a document.
Three steps
Write your slides: a cover, your points, and a closing slide with one ask.
Pick a template, size, colors, and fonts. Fix any slide flagged as cut off.
Download the PDF and add it to a LinkedIn post as a document.
GuideReviewed
A LinkedIn carousel is a document post. LinkedIn's help page on uploading documents lists PDF, PowerPoint, and Word files, up to 100 MB and 300 pages, and asks you to give the document a title when you upload it. After you post, you can edit the post text but not the document.
LinkedIn doesn't set a page size for document posts. Square pages (1080 × 1080 pixels) and portrait 4:5 pages (1080 × 1350 pixels) are common choices because they fill more of a phone screen than landscape pages. This maker makes both. Whichever you pick, use it for every slide.
People decide from the cover whether to swipe at all, so make it a specific promise: the problem the reader has, or what they'll be able to do by the last slide. Each slide after that should pay off part of the promise, in order.
Most people will read your carousel on a phone, one slide at a time. Large type, strong contrast, and the same template on every slide make it easy to follow.
This maker uses one template for the whole carousel, switches text between dark and white to suit your colors, and warns you when a color pair is hard to read. Long text shrinks to fit, down to a minimum size, and any slide where text still doesn't fit is flagged so you can shorten it. Before you post, open the PDF on your phone and read every slide.
The post text above the document gives people a reason to open it. Lead with the promise from your cover, and keep links in the post text, where they're easy to tap.
The PDF this maker creates saves each slide as an image, so the text on the slides can't be selected or read aloud by a screen reader. Put the key points in your post text too, so everyone can follow them, and give the document a plain, descriptive title when LinkedIn asks for one.
What people ask before they use the LinkedIn carousel maker.
Download the PDF, then start a post on LinkedIn, select More, and choose Add a document. Choose the PDF, add a document title, select Done, write your post text, and select Post. LinkedIn shows the pages as a document people can swipe through.
LinkedIn doesn't require a page size for document posts. Square (1080 × 1080 pixels) and portrait 4:5 (1080 × 1350 pixels) are common because they fill more of a phone screen than landscape pages. Pick one and use it for every slide.
LinkedIn accepts documents of up to 300 pages and 100 MB. Most carousels are far shorter, and this maker allows up to 20 slides. If you sponsor the document as an ad, LinkedIn recommends fewer than 10 pages.
You can edit the post text, but LinkedIn doesn't let you change the document. To fix a slide, you'd have to delete the post and share the corrected PDF again, so check every page on your phone before you post.
Not in this PDF. Each slide is saved as an image so it looks the same on every device, which means its text can't be selected or read aloud. Put the key points in your post text so everyone can follow them.
You can enter your background and accent colors as hex codes or start from a preset, and choose from three font pairings. Uploading your own fonts isn't supported. The profile row can show your photo or initials with your name and title.
No. The maker runs in your browser. Your text and photo stay on this page, and the PDF and images are created on your device, not sent to a server or an AI model. Nothing is saved after you leave, so download the PDF before you go.
Add bold and italic text, count characters, and preview the "…see more" cut.
Check one draft against every platform's limit, counted the way each platform counts.
